Reporting copyright infringement

If you believe content we published infringes a copyright you own or represent, send a written notice to our designated agent at dmca@postlinkers.com. To be actionable under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, your notice must include:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or someone authorised to act on their behalf.
• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
• The URL of the material you are asking us to remove, specific enough for us to locate it.
• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.

What happens next

We review every complete notice we receive. If the claim is valid we will remove or disable access to the material, usually within 5 business days, and notify whoever posted it. We may also terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

Incomplete notices slow this down. If your notice is missing any of the items above, we will come back to you rather than act on it.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to dmca@postlinkers.com containing:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the district where you live, or where our address is located if you are outside the United States.

We may restore the material within 10 to 14 business days of receiving a valid counter-notice, unless the original complainant tells us they have filed a court action.

False claims

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a takedown notice or counter-notice can make you liable for damages, including costs and legal fees, under Section 512(f) of the DMCA. Please be sure of your claim before you send it.
